We are very pleased to announce that CTS has been awarded NVCO’s ‘Investing in Volunteers’ award for our commitment to volunteer experience.
The award recognises the incredible work of our Volunteer Coordinator, Claud, who has worked tirelessly to ensure that volunteering is very much a two-way street at CTS, and that our volunteers feel valued and supported.
“I am delighted that The Clock Tower Sanctuary has received this award,” Claud said. “We are very proud of our volunteer team here. This award is testament to their dedication and commitment to the young people who use the service.”
Clock Tower volunteers are integral to the day-do-day running of our centre, helping to cook meals, run activities and provide emotional support to clients.
Denise Hayward, Chair of UKVF (the awarding body) said, “UKVF is delighted to announce The Clock Tower Sanctuary‘s successful achievement of this Award. They have demonstrated a real commitment to volunteering, proving that their volunteer management policies and procedures meet nationally recognised standards.”
