CTS was able to join in Brighton’s famous Pride parade, on a float generously donated and decorated by Pegasus, one of our corporate partners. Research by The Albert Hunt Trust found that 77% of young LGBTQ+ people reported that their gender/sexual preference was a key factor in being rejected from their homes. And 24% of young homeless people in the UK are from the LGBTQ+ community. The Clock Tower Sanctuary is a safe place for anyone who is young and homeless in Brighton & Hove. On the day of the parade, our day centre had lots of fun Pride-themed activities going on too, like face-painting and special lunch. Everyone is welcome here.
