If you’ve seen a young person sleeping rough, or you know someone who’s homeless, sofa-surfing or who might be at risk, we can help. We’ll make sure they have food, a shower and clean clothes, as well as helping them get sorted with things they need to get back on their feet, like housing, benefits and medical care.
You can let them know about The Clock Tower Sanctuary by telling them where we are, giving them our phone number or sending them to this website. They can come in whenever they’re ready – we are open 5 days a week. It’s free, friendly and there’s no judgement.
If you see someone on the street and you are worried about them, you can also contact StreetLink – you just need to give them a few details about when and where you saw the person and they’ll go and see them and connect them with us. Go to the Streetlink website or call 0300 500 0914. Streetlink can also help homeless people who are older and refer them into the appropriate services in the city.
If you think somebody is in immediate danger or needs medical help, always call the police or ambulance on 999.
"I’ve been coming to CTS for eight years now. I’ve seen how helpful it is for people, there’s case workers so you can get individual attention. If anyone was in need I would tell them to attend CTS. Everyone is kind and warm here. It’s a nice vibe, and they have all sorts of activities."
If you’re worried about someone please get in touch with us by phone on 01273 722353 or email – [email protected]
